Stare intently image for one minute. Do the red or blue letters look closer? Most people think the red looks closer, but some say blue. This illusion may look better if you click on the stereogram to see a larger version.

Now use either the crosseyed or parallel technique and you will see a stereogram in which alternate letters seem to be raised off the screen.
